At Cornerstone Garage Doors, we’re proud to offer something no other local garage door company does — our exclusive Opener Trade-Up Program. This program is designed to help homeowners upgrade to a newer, safer, quieter, and more reliable garage door opener while receiving credit for the opener they already have in place.

Even if your current opener is no longer working, it may still qualify. During a free visit, we’ll evaluate the condition, age, and overall setup of your existing garage door opener, including any accessories such as remotes, wireless keypads, and other connected components. From there, we can apply a trade-in credit toward the purchase and installation of a new garage door opener from Cornerstone Garage Doors.

Once the evaluation is complete, we’ll walk you through the opener options available, explain the benefits of each model, and help you choose the best fit for your home, budget, and goals. If you choose an in-stock opener and would like to move forward right away, installation may even be completed during the same visit. If not, we’ll simply schedule a follow-up installation appointment at a time that works for you.

How the Program Works

Schedule Your Free Trade-Up Evaluation
Getting started is simple. If you already have a garage door opener installed, you may qualify for our Opener Trade-Up Program, even if your current opener is no longer working. All you need to do is schedule a free evaluation with Cornerstone Garage Doors, and we’ll come out to take a closer look at your existing system and discuss your replacement options.
We Evaluate Your Existing Opener
During the visit, we’ll inspect the overall condition of your current garage door opener, including its age, visible wear, and general setup. We’ll also look at any included accessories, such as remotes, wireless keypads, wall controls, and other connected components. This allows us to determine what trade-up credit your existing opener may qualify for and helps us better understand what type of replacement opener may be the best fit for your home.
Receive Your Trade-Up Credit
Once the evaluation is complete, we’ll let you know how much trade-up credit your opener qualifies for. That credit can then be applied toward the purchase and professional installation of a new garage door opener from Cornerstone Garage Doors. Our goal is to make upgrading easier and more affordable while giving customers real value for the system they already have in place.

After we’ve completed the evaluation, we’ll walk you through the opener models we have available and explain the key features and benefits of each one. This includes things like drive type, noise level, lifting power, smart features, battery backup options, accessories, and overall performance. We want you to feel confident in your decision, so we’ll help you choose the opener that best fits your garage, your preferences, and your budget.
Install Now or Schedule for Later
If you decide to move forward and choose an in-stock model, we may be able to complete the installation during the same visit. For customers who are ready to upgrade right away, this can make the process quick and convenient. If the model you choose needs to be ordered or you would prefer installation on a different day, we’ll simply schedule a second appointment at a time that works best for you.
Program Details & Eligibility:
The Opener Trade-Up Program is available to customers with an existing garage door opener already installed, even if the opener is not currently operational. Trade-in credit ranges from $25 to $200, with an additional $50 credit available if the opener being traded in was originally installed by Cornerstone Garage Doors, for a maximum possible credit of $250. Openers more than 30 years old are not eligible for the program. Trade-in credit must be applied toward the purchase and installation of a new garage door opener from Cornerstone Garage Doors and must be used within 90 days of the original evaluation. If the credit is not used within that time, a new evaluation may be required.
